China has been adopting the policies of opening-up and reforming since 1978. After more than two decades of fast development, China has listed herself among the most rapidly developing countries in the world. In 2003, the total turnover of Changlin and its two joint ventures reached 1 billion US Dollars. Changlin has been on the path of rapid development.

Technical Advantage

Changlin Research and Development Center is a National Center certified by the Central government.

Technology is the biggest advantage of Changlin, compared with other Chinese competitors. 3-dimentional design has been extensively used. Employing hundreds of engineers with rich and professional experiences in different fields, several laboratories with hydraulic, powertrain and machine testing centers, and postdoctoral working stations Changlin has the ability to co-operate with Komatsu, Hyundai and other world famous manufacturers for construction machinery.

In the last ten years, Changlin has invested more than 40 million US Dollars in updating its production equipment facilities. Which include numerical machining centers, multi-purpose heat treatment stoves, numerical cutting machines, welding robots, a material pretreatment line providing de-rusting and leveling, and auto warehousing which is one hundred percent computer controlled. Changlin also has the longest wheel loader assembly line in China, as well as a multi-function test yard providing a variety of working conditions. This investment has greatly helped Changlin to increase its capability, both in development and manufacturing.

Management

In 1990, Changlin was honoured with National Quality Management, the highest award of it's kind in China.

Changlin has been awarded certificates for both ISO9001 and ISO14001, the first company in China's construction machinery industry to achieve both.

Modern information technology is also widely used in Changlin's management. Changlin has re-organized the information flow, capital flow, material flow, and is performing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program. The ABC management system is also applied in logistics, which combines workers, machines, and materials in best conditions.

The Office Automation system has been set up, which integrates the information of the internal production and the whole sales network. This system greatly increases the speed of information feedback and work efficiency. Changlin offers the best management in China's construction machinery industry.

Product Introduction

In the wheel loader line, Changlin has a full range of options, from a bucket capacity of 1 cubic meter to 3.5 cubic meters, and a horsepower range from 50 to 240. For international markets, Chinese engines, Caterpillar engines under licensed manufacturing, or an original Cummins engine could be options.

In 1999, Changlin started to cooperate with Komatsu of Japan for producing Motor Grader. We have three different options for this product, they are 165,190 and 220 horsepower. Also, there are three different kinds of engines and many different kinds of attachments as options.

The vibrating roller series range from 12 tons, 14 tons, 16 tons, 18 tons, and 20 tons in operating weight. These are mechanically driven. 18/21 and 21/25 are three drums static rollers. We have 20 and 27 tons in operating weight of pneumatic tyred rollers.
